Homework as an Assignment: Parents’ Perceptions and Involvement

This qualitative study explored the parents’ perceptions and involvement in homework for secondary school students. The also challenges suggestions completing as an engaging activity. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 10 parents selected through a purposive sampling technique. Thematic analysis was used to draw themes sub-themes from data. findings revealed that of students believed is activity supports learning process their children. They considered responsibility teachers. overloaded teachers schools did not support. These led some important implications study. It involve devising policies providing training support children completion. suggested developing nation-wide policy may guide teachers, parents,
